How would you describe your art in three words?

Psychedelic, dreamy, uplifting.

There are no limitations to artist Mercedes Del Cid’s imagination, and her artwork is proof of that. The painter from Fort Wayne, Indiana, turns blank canvases into creative explosions of vibrancy. Mercedes refers to herself as a Psychedelic Artist, as she produces dream-like designs that showcase her unique sense of artistry. Her paintings consist of various patterns and colors, yet everything blends together to embody an eye-catching and detailed work. In the future, Mercedes sees herself pursuing art full-time and continuing to embrace her creativity through her painting.

Where/how do you gather inspiration?

I gather my inspiration from other psychedelic art, nature, and testing out crazy ideas I have.

What do you hope audiences retain from your work?

I hope they feel more at peace and hopefully inspired.
