Seeking the Creative: Rayon Christopher, Singer, Songwriter & Musician

How would you describe your art in three words?

“Musical Journal Entries.”

From Atlanta, Georgia, singer and songwriter Rayon Christopher creates music that demonstrates introspection, self reflection, and experimentation all through melodious and memorable songs. The 25 year old musician has been working on his music since he was 17 years old. For Rayon, songwriting is a therapeutic outlet. His lyrics are vulnerable and relatable, ranging from love ballads to affirmative words about self worth. Everyday, Rayon is creating music. He hopes to one day find himself writing for some of the artists he finds most influential, artists such as H.E.R., Anderson .Paak, and Lucky Daye. Rayon has already produced an impressive collection of work, and is an amazing example of remarkable talent that you’ll want to keep your eye on.

Where/how do you gather inspiration?

I gather a lot of inspiration from my life/ relationships/ self reflection! My music is mostly me working out some larger emotions usually. Or long songs lol

What do you hope audiences retain from your work?

I hope my music helps people learn love, the journey they’re on.
